Chile is a country of astonishing geographic diversity, from the desserts of the north, to icy landscapes of the south. It's a very narrow country, bordered by the Andes on the west, and the Pacific Ocean on the east. You can be skiing in the morning, and 2 hours later be walking by the beach!
