Your Hosts 

We welcome you to our beautiful cabins in Valle Las Trancas! Your hosts are Stu, and his wife Dó, and Gwyn. We provide a warm welcome to all, and do our best to help you enjoy your stay in Las Trancas, whether it's for a weekend of gentle summer walking, or several weeks of extreme winter skiing. We've catered for individuals, families and groups from all over the world, but particularly from Brazil, Chile, Canada, and USA. Between the three of us, we speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, so we can have a conversation with almost all our guests.

Stu is a British ski instructor, who spent many years teaching in Termas de Chillan, and Andorra. He is fluent in Spanish and also speaks good Portuguese and a little French. Stu has had a life-long love of the outdoors, and enjoys skiing (downhill and randonee), hiking, and mountain biking. Stu previously ran a business in Andorra running off-road motorcycling tours between Andorra, Spain and Morocco. 

 Dó is Brazilian, she studied piano and English in London . Dó is very into international cuisine and loves to have friends over for dinner. Dó likes to ski, randonée, and take her dogs for long walks in the beautiful Valley Las Trancas.

 Gwyn is a Welshman, who spent several years in Andorra as a ski instructor. That's how Gwyn and Stu met, and became friends. Gwyn loves all mountain activities from hiking and mountain biking in the summer, to skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Gwyn has done extensive mountain biking in the Pyrenees, the Alps, and the Sierra Nevadas of California... but Chillan is his new favourite! Gwyn speaks a few words of Spanish, French and German.

And not forgetting our two beautiful dogs!

Brian & Bella 

Brian is a Border Collie who has a fixation with sticks. Anyone who has visited us knows and loves Brian. He plays all day with children as long as they throw the stick.

Bella is a Black Lab. She is more loyal to Stu & Dó than Brian, but that´s only because they have her food. She tends to sleep and eat most of the time, only to break to play with Brian.

 Both dogs are extremely well behaved and very client friendly, they both add to the friendly feel of Cabañas Los Andes!
